How Summit works

Three steps to a plan that actually fits your child

No guessing, no generic worksheets. We find the level first, then build from there.

1

Free placement check

A short, friendly check across the year's topics. In about 10 minutes you get a clear read: "Strong in Number, needs work on Fractions." No card, no commitment.

Summit turns the result into a personalised path — the right topics, at the right level, in the right order. Your child practises a little each day, not a mountain at once.

Why parents choose Summit

The personal feel of a tutor, at a fraction of the cost

Meets them where they are

Adaptive placement and difficulty mean your child is never bored or out of their depth — they work right at their edge, which is where real growth happens.

Progress you can actually see

No mystery. Topic-by-topic mastery and a termly report you can take to the school. Transparency is the whole point.

AU

Built for the AU curriculum

Maths and English mapped to Years 4–10 (Australian / Cambridge), so what they practise matches what they're tested on at school.

A daily habit, not a chore

Streaks, gentle goals and quick wins keep kids coming back on their own — without pop-ups nagging them to "do more".

Learns from mistakes

Wrong answers come back later, spaced out, so weak spots actually get fixed instead of forgotten. Worked solutions on every question.

Real tutors when you want them

Want a human in the loop? Premium adds fortnightly 1:1 sessions with a Summit tutor and a written termly assessment.

One tutoring session, or a whole term of Summit?

A single private tutoring session can cost $80–90. Summit is a whole month of daily, personalised practice — with progress you can see — for the price of a takeaway dinner.

Question 3 of 10
Expand and simplify:
2(x + 3) + 3(x + 1)
5x + 9
✓ Correct
Hint: expand both brackets first, then collect like terms.
WORKED SOLUTION
2(x+3) = 2x+6  ·  3(x+1) = 3x+3
2x+6+3x+3 = 5x+9
  1. Multiply each term inside the brackets by the term in front
  2. Watch the signs carefully
  3. Collect like terms
  4. Check by substituting a value back in
2. A hint before they give upAnd a full worked solution after — on every single question. Get it wrong and it comes back later, spaced out, until it sticks.

Common questions

Everything parents ask

Will my child actually use it?

That's exactly what we designed for. Sessions are short, the work sits right at their level (so it's never demoralising), and gentle streaks and quick wins build a daily habit. The free check lets you see their reaction before you pay anything.

What makes Summit different?

Summit isn't a question bank to wade through. We place your child precisely, build them a weekly plan around their exact gaps, coach each step with hints and worked solutions, and show you — the parent — real progress every week. It's a personal tutor's program, made affordable.

Do you match the Australian curriculum?

Yes. Maths and English are mapped to Years 4–10 against the Australian / Cambridge curriculum, so practice lines up with what's taught and tested at school.

What does the free check involve?

About 10 minutes of friendly questions across the year's topics — no account or card needed to start. At the end you get a clear, parent-readable report of strengths and the areas to focus on.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — one click, no lock-in, no phone calls. You can also pause instead of cancelling if you just need a break (school holidays, exams, etc.).

Is my child's data safe?

Children log in with a simple username and PIN — no email required. You, the parent, own the account and control everything. We only collect what's needed to run the learning program.

See where your child is — in 10 minutes, free

No card, no commitment. Just a clear picture of their strengths and what to work on next.
